Shakhtinsk Technological College: Preparing Professionals for the Future of Kazakhstan!

Our college, founded in 1964, has come a long way from a mining and construction technical school to a modern, innovative educational institution. Today, we are a key college in the region for training qualified personnel for the digital age and are making a worthy contribution to the building of a New Kazakhstan. High-quality human resources are the foundation of the national economy and the future of Kazakhstan.

• 913 students choose us for our quality and in-demand professions.
• 13 specialties and 16 qualifications are constantly adapted to market requirements.
• 80 partner enterprises, including industry giants like "Qarmet," "Qazaqgaz," and "Toyota," which guarantees employment for our graduates.
• Modern facilities: 4 academic buildings, 9 workshops, 6 laboratories, 2 gyms, and a dormitory with 80 beds.

Responding to the Challenges of Our Time: Digitalization and Innovation

In light of the tasks set by the Head of State, our college is actively implementing artificial intelligence and digital technologies into the educational process. We train personnel in key IT areas such as "Computer Engineering and Information Networks" and "Information Security Systems," forming the foundation for the country's digital sovereignty.

We are a host venue for the WorldSkills Karaganda regional championship in advanced competencies such as "Electronics" (since 2019) and "3D Modeling for Computer Games" (since 2021). Our students regularly win prizes in professional competitions, confirming the high quality of our education.

Internships and Employment

We place special emphasis on dual education (259 students) and targeted state-sponsored programs (207 students). This allows us to align the learning process as closely as possible with real production conditions and provide our graduates with their first job.

International Recognition

We are proud to have received international institutional accreditation from the Paris Academy in 2025, which confirms the high level of our educational programs. We are also actively developing academic mobility with partner colleges from Belarus and China.

Future Plans: At the Forefront of Change

• Opening new specialties in demand by the market, for example, "Polymer Production Technology" at the request of "SilkRoadsElectronics" LLP.
• Creating a student TechnoHUB — a center of attraction for talented youth.
• Expanding participation in the WorldSkills movement in competencies such as "Graphic Design," "Web Design," and "Mobile Application Development".
• Implementing innovative projects like "TechnoMalysh: Radio Kits for Future Engineers" and participating in the "Edu Welding" international educational platform.
